Education First Regional Programs Inservices Infusion Therapy Physician Education Lending Library

Partners is committed to working with the facilities we service to address the educational needs of the facility staff and help them adapt to the changes occurring in the healthcare industry. Please view our Education Calendarfor upcoming events, many of these programs offer participants CEU’s and CME’s. Additionally Partners offers clients free access to our extensive lending library of educational videos, CD ROMs and audiotapes are available for 30-day loans.

Education First

Videos, courses, and textbooks are available on a monthly basis with no cost to all facilities serviced. This free program provides resources to the facility to assist in staff development and education.

Regional Education Programs
Education seminars are provided on a variety of topics throughout the State. Many provide CEU’s and certificates of attendance. Programs are available for Administrators, Medical Directors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practioners, Directors of Nursing Services, Nursing Staff, CNAs and LPN’s.

Inservices
Available at your facility, often provided by our QA Nurse or Consultant Pharmacist on key issues. Please contact the Pharmacy to schedule.

Infusion Therapy Education Programs
Provides IV certification and recertification to your facility staff. Contact the pharmacy for a schedule of upcoming classes. The educational component of Partner’s Infusion Therapy Program consists of:

 On-site educational programs pertaining to appropriate use of .infusion therapy supplies

 On-site educational programs pertaining to the use of all  .infusion therapy devices approved by the facility

 On-site intravenous and intravascular certification programs  .for the facility’s RNs including didactic and clinical components

 Intravenous and intravascular certification programs for the  .facility’s RNs including didactic and clinical components

Resident Education
Partners' associates are responsible for inservices based on the needs of the residents in the nursing homes or residential/assisted living facilities that we service. Each facility serviced by Partners is also provided the opportunity to receive educational materials (pamphlets, videos, posters, etc.) for their residents.

Physician Education
A physician-based educational effort is one of the key components of Partners’ Therapeutic Strategies and Outcomes Program. The program incorporates:

 Facility-based educational programming and training for  .Medical Directors and attending physicians in developing and  .implementing cost-reduction strategies for your facility

 Educational programs for physicians and other mid-level  .prescribers on exciting, geriatric-focused, topics

 Consultation to your physicians by experts on the Partners’  .Medical Advisory Board

Lending Library
Partners’ maintains a comprehensive educational lending library created exclusively for our valued customers. Facilities serviced by Partners can access a large selection of videos, CDs, and books that cover a wide variety of topics pertinent to long-term care. For example:

 These items, and many others, are available for no-charge loan  . to facilities serviced by Partners

Each Facility may borrow up to two videos/CDs/books etc. for a one-month period.  Materials can be delivered to the facility with the regularly scheduled pharmacy delivery and are returned to Partners in a special bag supplied with the delivery.
